Hi [subscriber:firstname],
Welcome to St Mary by the Sea news for this week.

This week in our Discipleship Series is Breaking Bread.

This week we have seen new community cases. So some reminders:
  1. Scan in with the QR code, or record your visit at St Mary by the Sea
  2. Do not come to in-person worship if you are sick, or if you are awaiting the results of a Covid19 test
  3. If you are sick call Healthline on 0800 358 5453 and get a test
  4. Practice good hand hygiene and cough etiquette.
It is great to be getting back to more activities and life in Level 1. It is a blessing to be able to meet in person and worship together. By following the guidelines below in 'Ín-Person Worship' we can all help limit the spread of Covid and reduce our risk of needing to progress up through alert levels. One change to our worship pattern will be that the common cup will not be offered. We are currently uncertain about its safety, to ensure the safety of all of us, we have a choice of communion in one kind (bread only) or individual wine/grapejuice cups. We hope to see you online or at St Mary by the Sea this Sunday.

As we are back at level 1, or Sunday YouTube worship moves from a liturgy, music and teaching style, to a regular Video Podcast style. Did you, or will you miss out on in-person worship this week? Then please check out the video podcast, it goes live with a YouTube premiere Sunday at 10am

We look forward to joining in worship with you, Sunday 8am and 10am at St Mary by the Sea, and also 10am on YouTube.

    2020-10-25 - Discipleship 3 - Breaking Bread

In-person worship - St Mary by the Sea

We hold three in person worship services:
    • Sunday 8am communion
    • Sunday 10am communion
    • Wednesday 10am communion & Bible Study
While we are in level 1, we will continue to:
    • Use hand sanitiser or washing hands when we enter and exit church, as well as when using the bathroom or serving food.
    • Signing-in via the government QR code or the sign in sheet
Even though we are at level 1, it is really important to sign in. We saw with the last outbreak, how critically important contact tracing is, so that when there is another outbreak, people can be traced quickly and efficiently; please sign in. Vestry have agreed that it is a condition of coming onto our properties that you must sign in either with the paper register, or the Government QR code.

We ask that if you are sick or have any cold or flu symptoms including runny/blocked nose, cough, sneezing, temperature, sore throat, aches and pains, loss of smell that you stay at home until you are better. You can attend worship when you have been symptom free for three days. If you are concerned about your or your loved ones health, please contact your GP or Healthline 0800 358 5453

We look forward to seeing you on-line or in-person.

    Dion and Angela.

    Faith 5

Faith 5 is 5 simple steps to help us nurture our faith. It is simple enough to be done multiple times a week.
1: SHARE your highs and lows
    2: READ a Bible story
3: TALK about how the Bible reading might relate to your highs and lows
4: PRAY for one another’s highs and lows
    5: BLESS one another

    Local enquiry. Accommodation wanted.

I would love to move locally as soon as possible and on a longterm basis. I am looking for a granny flat - 1 or 2 bedrooms ideally with a carport if possible.
I am a quiet professional non-smoker with no pets. Originally from the seaside, I have realised I need to be local to the sea for exercise. Happy to share and love animals.
