This week we explore 2 SAMUEL 3:7; 21:1-14 and the story of Rizpah Mourning for her sons. We see in this, the role of public grief, leading to justice and transformation. Quiz Night

Saturday 4th July 5:00pm

We will be holding another great family quiz night at St Marys. Saturday 4th July. Doors open at 4:30pm for a 5:00pm start. Bring along your own drink and snacks for during the quiz, dinner and dessert provided.

Shared Lunch and Farewell

Sunday 5th July

To celebrate being able to come together in person to worship, we will be holding a shared lunch after 10am service on Sunday 5th July. We will also use this occasion to celebrate our friendship with and to farewell the Hoffmans as Waltraud and Peter are moving to Invercargill.

Pyjama Collection

Anglican Trust for Women and Children are collecting new PJ’s and clean bedding to keep kids warm this winter. Bring them to church on Sunday or pop them in during the week and Angela will take them all to the drop off centre.
Collection at St Marys close 9:00 am Wednesday 1st July.

Unraveled Teaching Series

We have started a teaching series called "Unraveled: Seeking God When Our Plans Fall Apart". The last few months have been challenging in many ways and this will be a time to reflect and contemplate on the ways that our lives have been unraveled by circumstances and how God works to both challenge and transform us.

Just Art competition launched! We believe art and artists have a God-given prophetic role to play in calling us to Kingdom justice! So we’re calling for submissions from Artists up and down this beautiful land of Aotearoa!

Church Life Survey

Every now and again, the Church Life Survey, releases a study about how Christian's experience faith and life. A survey for their next study is being released Friday 22 May here. and it focuses our experience under lockdown, in particular assessing the effectiveness of online services and other forms of support.
