this week we celebrate the Trinity. With the coming of the Holy Spirit in power the disciples were empowered to go out. As they went out they testified to what God was doing in their life and community. And as they came back, they reflected on what God was doing. They discovered that God was working with them in three quite distinct, but coherent ways. God was working with them as the Father & Creator, and as the Son & Redeemer, and as the Holy Spirit & Giver of Life. They started to reflect on the different things God was doing, and they realised that this needed to be named. And the name was the Trinity. The Trinity reminds us that to God, relationships are critically important. The Trinity reminds us that we are different, and that this is good. We bring different skills and giftings to God's world and our uniqueness is valued and wanted, just as we experience God in unique ways. The Trinity reminds us of unity in diversity.

Covid vaccine
From late May the government is starting to roll out Covid Vaccinations for those in the population that are classed as Group 3. Group 3 covers those people aged over 65 or with an existing medical condition that would leave them more at risk should they catch Covid. If you are unsure if this applies to you, or you have questions about the vaccine and your medical condition, please speak to your General Practitioner or Healthline. They are the best place to get information and to advise you. The information from Healthline regarding the vaccination roll out is 'individuals will receive an invitation from their District Health Board DHB inviting them to book in for a vaccine. This invitation will come via email or text. Each District Health Board DHB is managing its own vaccine roll out so dates will vary slightly around the country and it may take a couple of months for all in this group to receive their invitation'. If you have concerns about how or when you will receive your invitation please contact your General Practitioner. If anyone is wanting support with booking a vaccination please feel free to contact the church office.
