this week we remember The Ascension. Sometimes life is hard to explain. The Ascension is one of those things that is hard to explain too. If you take nothing from the Ascension, take this: It’s our Job now! Please join us Sunday as we dive into Luke 24 in a deeper way and explore what this means for us. It’s our Job now!

Mainly Music
Fridays 9:30am start at St Marys
Mainly Music runs during the school term if we are level 1. If you know of a local family with pre-schoolers please recommend this group to them. This group is open to all families with pre-schoolers. $4 donation per family asked.

Able bodied helpers URGENTLY required
Mainly Music is a great mission, it runs school term only on Fridays at 9.30am. It provides an educational quality time for careers and pre-schoolers. We need volunteers to move all the chairs to the side of the church so we have an activity space for the families. If you are able to help move chairs Thursday, to set up, or on Friday at about 10:30am, after the session, please call Meg Norton 473 8444.

Tax Returns for Donations.
Thank you for all your donations over the course of the year. The tax receipts are prepared and with Trust Management and should be posted out to you in the next week. If you have not received your tax return by the 23rd May or have a query about your return please contact the office as a matter of urgency.
|
Moving forward, and in line with our policy on saving financial and environmental resources, we would like to move to sending tax receipts were possible by email. If you are happy to receive future tax receipts by email please email the church office (office@stmary.co.nz) from the address you wish your receipt to be sent to with TAX RECEIPT as the subject line. This will be considered your authority to send subsequent years tax receipts to this address.
|
Again, we want to say a huge thank you for all the donations made over the course of the year. Without such donations we would not be able to continue the work of the church, providing opportunities for worship and service, along with the hosting of our much-valued community programmes.
