Hi ,
it was great to be able to celebrate level 1 last week. We also began our new teaching series called Unraveled. This week we explore Peter walking on the water, and how we all get things wrong at times. We meet at 8am and 10am for in-person worship. At 10am on YouTube our new podcast of the homily during our unraveled series goes live. We hope to see you online, or in person this Sunday.

Unraveled Teaching Series

We have started a teaching series called "Unraveled: Seeking God When Our Plans Fall Apart". The last few months have been challenging in many ways and this will be a time to reflect and contemplate on the ways that our lives have been unraveled by circumstances and how God works to both challenge and transform us.

In-person worship - St Mary by the Sea

We hold three in person worship services:
  • Sunday 8am communion
  • Sunday 10am communion
  • Wednesday 10am communion & Bible Study (cancelled this week as there is no power)

Power cut Wednesday 24th June

St Mary by the Sea and Office Closed

There is a powercut between 9am and 4pm, Wed 24 June 2020. St Mary by the Sea will be closed that day

Wednesday 10am worship cancelled

There will be no Wednesday service, this Wednesday 24th June 2020 as there will be no power. See you next week.

Wednesday Zoom Bible study @ 10am instead

We will have to have our Bible study online this week as there will be now power at St Mary by the Sea. So we will blend the 10am and 12noon studies together on Zoom, this Wednesday 24th June 2020 @ 10am instead.

Bible Studies

Normally we hold two bible studies (see below). This week, Wednesday 24 June, we will only have one study due to a power cut. See you at 10am on zoom instead.

Our in-person Bible Study is Wednesday @10am. We first begin with a short informal communion service, where we look at the saint for the day.

Just Art Competition

Just Art competition launched! We believe art and artists have a God-given prophetic role to play in calling us to Kingdom justice! So we’re calling for submissions from Artists up and down this beautiful land of Aotearoa!

Every now and again, the Church Life Survey, releases a study about how Christian's experience faith and life. A survey for their next study is being released Friday 22 May here. and it focuses our experience under lockdown, in particular assessing the effectiveness of online services and other forms of support.
